Nicholas Baker has a doctorate in education from Northeastern University. He has taught in the virtual K-8 environment for over 20 years, as well as teaching sixth grade in a brick and mortar setting for 3 years.
Aside from being an award-winning teacher and author, Dr. Baker is one half of a successful songwriting team. Baker’s wife, Marina V, is a singer/songwriter. Together, the two have released several albums and have seen their music featured in films, TV shows and ads. They have toured the world, sharing the stage with acts such as Beth Hart, Howard Jones, Wang Chung, Tom Morello, Ben Harper, and others. They have won an award from Sir Bob Geldof and once recorded an album at Graham Nash’s home.
