Nicholas M. Baker, EdD, is a virtual sixth grade teacher with the California Virtual Academies. Dr. Baker has taught K–8 in the virtual setting for more than two decades and was the recipient of the National Coalition of Public School Options, California Teacher of the Year Award in 2009.
